Darla Schall, BSN, CLTC, WCC, is Director of Nursing at Clark-Lindsey’s Meadowbrook Health Center and leads Meadowbrook staff in providing quality care to residents. Darla has worked in Long Term Care her entire nursing career, starting in 1992 as a Certified Nurse’s Aide while attending school. She attended Lakeview College of Nursing in Danville and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
Darla’s career at Clark-Lindsey started as a part-time registered nurse and within a few months grew to a full-time, skilled care unit coordinator. She transitioned to the Assistant Director of nurses for a while and then to Director of Nursing in May of 2013. She also has served as a CNA instructor in the past. Currently Darla is wound care certified and has her Long Term Care Director of Nursing certification.
“I enjoy being with residents and team members whenever possible,” says Darla. “Long Term Care is where my passion has always been and continues to be. I love the opportunity to engage in conversation and activity and am grateful to work in this culture that not only supports that but encourages it.”
