Vice President of Resident Services

As Vice President of Resident Services, Ron oversees five of Clark-Lindsey’s departments including Dining Services, Resident Services, Marketing, Wellness and Activities and Community Relations. It is the resident interaction which Ron enjoys the most about his work. “Nearly all the areas for which I’m responsible have a great deal of interaction with residents. It’s really like getting together with friends each day when I come to work,” says Ron. “And the team members I work with share that appreciation for the life-long relationships we develop with residents and each other.”

Ron is Certified Marketing Professional in senior living and is a graduate of the LSN Leadership Academy, both programs of Leading Age Illinois.  The state organization is part of a the national Leading Age organization, an association dedicated to policies, practices and research that supports, enables and empowers people to live fully as they age.  Prior to joining Clark-Lindsey, he worked in the media industry in both marketing and administration for nearly 30 years.

Ron has served as a member of the International Newspaper Marketing Association (INMA) and as President of the INMA Central Region.  He has served on the boards of the The News-Gazette, the Illinois Press Association, Champaign County Chamber of Commerce, Champaign-Urbana Schools Foundation, Cunningham Children’s Home Foundation, Don Moyer Boys and Girls Club and the Helen Mary Stevick Senior Citizens Center.  He is currently serving as a member of the Leading Age Illinois CCRC Cabinet and as an officer of the Exchange Club of Urbana.
