Clark-Lindsey among Top in National Survey
Independent living residents report high levels of Engagement and Satisfaction
URBANA –Once again, Clark-Lindsey receives high satisfaction marks from its independent living residents. Every year, the organization asks residents to complete a satisfaction survey. This feedback and perspective is invaluable, allowing Clark-Lindsey to fulfill its mission of engaging the mind, spirit, and body in wellness and community so that older adults may thrive.
“In addition to the annual ‘satisfaction’ measure, ‘engagement’ was added to the 2018 analysis to gauge how well the organization is creating the kind of environment that facilitates engagement with the community in different ways.” Ron Wilcox, Vice President of Residential Services.
The survey, conducted by independent research firm Holleran, uses four domains to measure engagement: Voice, Connection, Fulfillment, and Well-Being. On a scale of 1 to 5, Clark-Lindsey scores a 4.51 for Voice. This puts it in the 97th percentile when compared to the Holleran benchmark of 92,000 surveys from 308 communities across 38 states. Scores rang in at 4.64 for Connection, 4.58 for Well-Being, and 4.38 for Fulfillment. Respectively, these scores are in the 92nd, 94th, and 88th percentile. Translated by Holleran into a Resident Engagement Ranking, Clark-Lindsey scored eight out of eight. In addition to the engagement domains, Clark-Lindsey measures 20 satisfaction factors. More than half the satisfaction factors score at or above the 80th percentile. These include overall satisfaction with Clark-Lindsey, long-term confidence in Clark-Lindsey’s future, quality of physical health programs, friendliness/courtesy of employees, quality of amenities, and quality of the billing department.
